Privacy notice
Version 1.0
What we hold
- Your name, phone number and email address.
- Where you organize: region, constituency, electoral area, polling station.
- What you told us you can do: skills, languages, availability, interests.
- What you have done: missions, events, training, referrals.
- Which sign-in providers you connected, and which social accounts you listed.
What we do not hold
- Your password for any social platform. We never ask for one.
- Your private messages on any platform.
- Anything inferred about your religion, ethnicity or health.
- Data bought or scraped from anywhere else.
What we use it for
Organizing the movement: connecting you to your area, offering you work that fits, telling you what is happening near you, and measuring whether the organization is strong or weak in each place. Nothing else. It is never sold.
Who can see it
Organizers can see members within the area they are responsible for, and no further. Contact details need a separate permission again. Restricted records log every read.
Your rights
Under Ghana's Data Protection Act you may ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, and object to how it is used. Edit your profile directly, or write to privacy@bawumianation.org.
Security
Passwords are hashed and never recoverable. Tokens for connected accounts are encrypted. Privileged accounts require two-step verification. Administrative actions are recorded in an audit trail the application cannot rewrite.
